Olympic White Offset Telecaster w/ TV Jones Starwood Pickups

Offset Telecaster custom built from a mix of brand new and pre-owned genuine Fender & premium bespoke parts:
My goodness...words cannot explain how incredible this guitar sounds. The only way it could be better is if it had a floating bridge & Tremolo (if you're in NYC / NJ and can help me route for that msg me!)
But the pickups...boy! @tvjonesinc really knocked it out of the ballpark with their Starwood Tele pickups. The magic coming from the fact that they use the big T-Armond (Dynasonic) Magnets and manage to merge that classic Telecaster sound with the dynamic, sparkly, and beefy (without being "dark") tone of those old Gretsch Dynasonic Loaded guitars. Think Duo Jet meets Tele. A match made in heaven! Mr Jones if you can please make T-Armonds that would drop into both Jazzmaster & Jaguar - I'd be a very very happy camper!Spec:
- Poplar Olympic White Body (from Paranormal Series)
- Classic 50s Lacquer Neck w/ Aged Fender Tuners
- TV Jones Starwood Telecaster Pickups
- Custom Cut WD Pickguard
- Fender AVRI Hardware
- Wilkinson Compensated Saddles

custom built Daphne Blue 'Marr' Jaguar

This one was one of my more budget builds, starting with a classic vibe 70s Jag body. That said, it really turned out fantastically. The neck was of similar profile to the Marr neck, a beefier round c profile, and the pickup options nailed the tones. I did decide to swap out the 2nd bass cut switch, for a phase switch, adding a strat-like tone when engaged in parallel and series positions - which sounds really awesome on a Jaguar! For folks who want to DIY their own...be prepared with a Dremel tool, as you will need to open up the lead circuit route to accomodate the 4-way switch.Overall, this was a fun, chill build that turned out to be a really great playing and sounding homage to the originals.- Daphne Blue Classic Vibe 70s Jaguar Poplar Body

blackout '62 style Jazzmaster

Awesome custom build for a friend. Almost all black aesthetics made for a striking and unique looking Jazzmaster. Aside from an all nitro finished build, the standout star of this build is by far the Brandonwound Noiseless pickups. I'm personally not a fan of noiseless pickups in general...they often do not sound like the single coils they are trying to emulate, however these blew my mind. They just sound like vintage jazzmaster pickups but are noiseless somehow. So kudos to Brandonwound for making such a great pickup. Shouts also to Descendant for their very unique Vibrato system...with standout features being it's insane dive bombing capabilities, the recessed string mounting design, and the ability to adjust how tight the trem arm is in it's collet, without having to remove the whole tremolo first! Was told after the fact, by two different friends who played it, that this was an incredibly inspirational guitar to play and write on, which is truly a high honor and what I always strive for with any TWG build.Specs:'62 style Jazzmaster custom built from a mix of brand new and pre-owned genuine Fender & premium bespoke parts:- Piano black nitro lacquer body by Musikraft w/ fully shielded cavities

Olympic White '59 Style Jazzmaster

1959 style Jazzmaster custom built from a mix of brand new genuine Fender & premium bespoke parts:This one turned out to be a really solid playing example of a Jazzy, low action and might be one of the quietest (at least with regards to 60 cycle hum!) Jazzmasters with proper vintage spec pickups that I've put together. Nails that classic Jazzmaster tone: clear, articulate and takes well to pedals. The guitar is resonant and incredibly stable. Built from mostly brand new parts. If you've ever had a guitar built/ modded/or setup by me, you know that I meticulously address any issues that factory produced examples usually have out of the box.Specs:
-Olympic White Classic Vibe 60s Poplar Body w/ stock wiring
-Shimmed for proper break angle/neck pitchback
-Fender Classic Player / Vintera 60s Modified Neck
- Medium C profile / 9.5" radius / 6130 fretwire / Pau Ferro Fretboard (it's a nice dark example!)

It's always hard to part with a cherished instrument, but I won't lie, I'm already regretting selling this one. Not just because it's a killer playing and sounding guitar, but mostly because I've never seen another Jazzmaster quite like it. It started life as a Vintera 60s Jazzmaster from 2021 but now feels very similar to an old 1964 Jazzmaster that I had done a restoration on years ago. The guitar was stripped down to bare wood, tummy cut deepened, rounded and smoothed over to that trimmer vintage / AVRI spec, and custom refinished in this visually striking, immaculate Metal-flake Nitrocellulose 'Agent Orange Sparkle' Lacquer finish by Krishna Jain from Guitar Garage in MA. Mid 60s logo was restored and applied in vintage correct fashion over the finish. Despite being done years ago, you can still smell a hint of that almost sweet lacquer scent when you'd open up its case to take it out. It's a professional job that looks like a factory perfect finish and unlike when it had it's thick poly finish and undercoat, the body resonates wonderfully...you can feel it really vibrate as you strum. And while I usually prefer a deep, dark rosewood or my Jazzmaster fretboards, the hue of the Pau Ferro board here compliments the Orange colorway of the guitar very very nicely.Well, it was too good of a base platform to leave stock, as some of the Vintera 60s specs leave a bit to be desired, at least for a Jazzmaster aficionado that's owned dozens of them from actual vintage pieces to modern vintage reissues and custom built ones, so I upgraded it with some premium parts to make it play and sound that much better: M1 Mastery Bridge, AVRI Tremolo & Arm & the currently hard to find J. Mascis Signature Alnico II Jazzmaster Pickups (these are the official Fender produced aftermarket pickups, not pulled from his Squier or Japan Signature Models), & Shielded the Cavities and Pickguard.I've always had a soft spot for Alnico II Pickups, so when I saw the Mascis signature set hit the market I immediately ordered them direct from Fender. They have a warmer, full-bodied tone that's a marked improvement from the stock Vintera 60s pickups, and have more character and vibe than the Pure Vintage '65 Jazzmaster pickups. The Mastery bridge's brass saddles, deeper grooves and non-rocking design helps the guitar sing and sustain that much better as well, while solving the most common woes that many Jazzmaster players have experienced at some point or another (strings jumping out of saddles, intonation & tuning instability due to the bridge rocking and not returning to center and strings binding onto the saddles). And upgrading the tremolo to an American Vintage Reissue unit is usually the first mod I prioritize, as it just works that much smoother, with a more substantial spring and robust construction (and to be honest, I wasn't a fan of the Vintera's screw in trem arm design).Nice balanced weight for a Jazzmaster at 8lbs even on my scale. And now belongs to a great friend and client of mine who rocks it all the time! Happy ending although bittersweet.

I had the wacky idea when coming across this Troy Van Leeuwen neck for sale to do a semi-budget Gold Guard Jazzmaster Build, in Olympic White, as a neutral base to have the gold colorway of the pickguard play off of the *almost gold colored "Copper-Age" finish on the headstock. The guitar came out playing and sounding excellent, largely thanks to the fantastic neck. I did have to do a tiny bit of fret dressing to address some sharp ends, but aside from that, these maple TVL necks are really fantastic...and it was the only Maple Neck Jazzmaster I've ever assembled myself. 500k pots, which I almost never use on Jazzmasters, seemed to really compliment the Pure Vintage '65 pickups well, taming some of that brightness out of the gate and a more pleasant tone overall, with the knobs at 10. Hope to do another maple neck Jazzmaster or Jaguar soon.

Aged Ice Blue Metallic '64 Style Jazzmaster / Protocaster Collab

'64 style Jazzmaster custom built from a mix of brand new genuine Fender & premium bespoke parts:This is one of my favorite builds from over the years, mostly because it's one of a handful that I've done in collaboration with the aged finishing master & guitar builder, my dear friend Josh aka Protocaster Guitars. He showed me the ropes on how he mixes and sprays metallic finishes, and took the lead on this brilliant Aged Ice Blue Metallic finish. We decided to keep it closet clean in the end, and the rest of the build went swimmingly, with premium Fender & boutique parts used throughout. 10+ years later, client I built it for still owns and plays it regularly and that undoubtedly makes me happy.Specs:- light alder body finished in an aged Ice Blue Metallic nitrocellulose finish in collaboration with Josh @ Protocaster Guitars- Musikraft Thin C Profile, rock maple neck with Ebony Fretboard, pearloid dots, 6105 Frets and White Tusq Nut- Bullock Pre-CBS Style Jazzmaster Pickups- Staytrem 7.25" Bridge & Tremolo Collet & Arm- Toneguard Gold Anodized Aluminum Pickguard- AVRI Tremolo- Gotoh Vintage Style Tuners- NOS Vintage White Witch Hat Knobs- 1Meg CTS Pots, Minipots,- AVRI Spec Rhythm circuit roller wheels & mounting bracket- Switchcraft Input Jack, Toggle Switch & Rhythm Circuit Switch- NOS Paper in Oil capacitors- 22 gauge colored cloth covered wiring,- fully copper foil shielded body- Genuine Fender Strap Pins- Professionally setup for low action & maximum stability with .011 - 052 gauge strings- Weight: 8 lbs

Shell PINK OFFSET TELECASTER

MORE PICS COMING SOONCustom Shell Pink Offset Telecaster built from a mix of brand new and pre-owned genuine Fender parts.2nd Guitar I've built for my wife over our past 15 years together...as a 7th Wedding Anniversary present! She'd always wanted a Telecaster, but seeing as she's played the Burgundy Mist Metallic Jazzmaster I built for her 14+ years ago, I wanted to assemble something that would look and sound striking on stage, but have a familiar feel in hand and against the waist. Went with all vintage style specs, so even the neck, with it's vintage frets and 7.25" radius feels like home to her. And the Original Vintage '52 Telecaster Pickups by Fender are have always been my go-to off the shelf, Telecaster pups, nailing that iconic twang, cutting bridge & creamy neck tone. She's rocked this one on tour as a member of Gina Volpe's (of the Lunachicks) band! A real workhorse offset that I'm sure she'll be brandishing for many years to come.Specs:
